General:

Name: Iain

Age: Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

Place of Birth:

Hospital

Hobbies: Chelsea FC, Guinness and Vodka.

Favourite food: Anything – as long as there’s enough.

Favourite drink: That’ll be Guinness then!

Favourite film:

Usual Suspects / Donnie Darko / American History X / Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Favourite music artist:

A mish-mash of all sorts. My iPod is full of different stuff including U2, Chilli Peppers, The Twang, Gorillaz, Green Day and Kings of Leon and loads of 80’s noise.

5 people you would take on a night out with you:

Lisa Gallagher (the totty), Esther Hall (extra totty), Roman Abramovich (the money and security), Dara O’Briain (the craic) and Derren Brown (to convince ‘the totty’ I was worth a go).

Chelsea FC:

First Chelsea match attended: Against Forest at the Bridge in ’89. We drew 2-2. I can’t remember too much about the game as a mate took me and thought it would be ‘fun’ to stand in the Shed not far in front of, what I later found out were referred to as Headhunters. I was young, nervous and (even though wearing blue) spent most of the match looking over my shoulder instead of at the pitch.

Favourite current Chelsea player: Joe Cole

Favourite ex Chelsea player: Gianfranco Zola

Worst Chelsea player: Anelka & Sutton – now there’s a striking partnership from hell.

Best moment supporting Chelsea: Joining York Blues

Worst moment supporting Chelsea: Painfully cheering them on against Villa waving an arm I didn’t even know was broken.

Favourite Chelsea match attended: Carling Cup Final ’07 – cracking few days out!

Favourite all time Chelsea kit: Centenary kit

Favourite away ground visited: Stade Gerland (Olympique Lyonnais ) – very impressive. The ground is elevated above the surrounding area and looks like a Roman Amphitheatre. Once you’ve climbed up to it and got inside it’s no less impressive and the ‘new’ stands at either end are awesome.

Worst away ground visited: Aberdeen

– saw an U21 international there (many moons ago) and it must be the coldest ground in the country. Exposure is free with any ticket purchased during the dark months!! Who in their right mind builds a ground right next to the North Sea , when there are helicopters taking off nearby and the occupants are wearing survival suits!!

Your least favourite team: FC St Gallen – who exactly told them they could come over here all Swiss like and beat the FA Cup holders(?!)
